“ We were only in the region of Venice for one week, but we are here three times. What a great find. My wife can't have gluten or lactose, and these guys do pizza and pasta that is safe for her. The pizza is extremely good, this is the first place we've ever been to where the gluten free pizza is indistinguishable from the standard one. And they had lactose free mozzarella too. Aside from that, the pizza itself was excellent. The pasta dishes we had were superb too. And the whole thing was priced really well. Loved this place, and the staff were really friendly and helpful despite my woeful Italian. ”

“ It's really hard to beat the atmosphere of this restaurant. The interior has some beatiful rustic decor, and features huge barrels repurposed at banquettes or tables, old solid wooden seating and partitions, and authentic country-life paraphernalia. The lighting is soft and inviting too. Food-wise I have always only had pizza and I find the menu extensive and not limited to the usual-suspects. I am not completely enamoured with the crusty pizza, which always comes with quite a thick border. I guess that's the Neapolitan style but I am a Northerner and prefer more room for the toppings rather than the crust. However, the dough is very well made and well cooked. The dessert options are also very tempting and usually don't disappoint. ”
